Dr. Brian Richman
completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young
University in Zoology. He is a 1992 graduate of the
California College of Podiatric Medicine in San
Francisco. Dr. Richman completed a three-year surgical
residency from 1992 to 1995 at the Veterans Affairs
Medical Center and Doxey Hatch Medical Center in Salt
Lake City, Utah. Dr. Richman is the 2001 Council
President for the American Cancer Society North Davis
Utah Chapter. He is
a member of the American Diabetes Association, American
Podiatric Medical Association, and the Utah Podiatric
Medical Association. Dr. Richman is a board certified
podiatric physician and surgeon and has been in private
practice six years. Dr. Richman has developed new
surgical techniques that have helped cure diabetic
ulcers, prevent further breakdown of the diabetic
charcot foot, and prevent foot and leg amputations.
Dr. Richman specializes in diabetic foot care, foot and
ankle surgery, biomechanics, sports medicine, and
general podiatric conditions. Dr. Richman has published
numerous podiatric medical journal articles. He has
written and contributed many articles for local
newspapers and community groups. Dr. Richman has been a
guest speaker for the Utah Podiatry Medical Association,
Westminster College, and Brigham Young University School
of Nursing.
Dr. Richman loves listening to country music, reading,
playing basketball, studying church history, and playing
with his kids. He is an active voice in his community,
church, and a good family man. Dr. Richman also owns and
operates a 13.5 acre peach farm. Dr. Richman and his
wife Andrea enjoy there five children and their fast and
hectic lifestyle at home. |
